Spilling Family Secrets

Brief: Susan Freedman is a master storyteller, who has been doing the Canadian Fringe circuit for years with her one-woman shows. Susan orginally contacted me for graphic design and publicity support for her show Spilling Family Secrets, in which she relates the story of her parents love affair after finding a shoebox of their love letters from when they were 19 years old.  She had some old family photos that I selected from to create the marketing designs. We updated the designs for a second Fringe Tour the following year.

Over two years on Spilling Family Secrets, I created 6 versions of the posters (personalized with updated review quotes and relevant Fringe Logos for each location), and 2 set of postcards, featuring all three of the locations for each season.

OLD-ish

 OLD-ish chronicles the aging process in all its technicolour glory. It’s about eyeing that final curtain with humour and honesty. OLD-ish’s outlook is optimistic; love, connections and laughter are the keys to aging happily and the best dodge against sickness, both physical and mental.

Susan toured OLD-ish across Canada for two years, in which time I created 3 sets of posters and one set of postcards (personalized with updated review quotes and relevant Fringe Logos for each location). Additional design for Goodside included Facebook advertising.
